Kate investigated the neural mechanisms of segmentation in depth, colour and motion, funded by the BBSRC.

 

Helen Payne

Helen worked on the ESRC project ÒAgeing Visibility and IgnoringÓ. Helen measure the mechanisms underlying active ignoring and found different patterns of activation for older and younger adults.

 

Jacquie Mhizha-Murira

Jacquie developed methods to measure workload in the NITES simulator as part of a project to investigate driving behaviour in collaboration with civil engineering and Nottingham Trent University.

Helen worked on the psychology part of the Clay Transformations project investigating the cognitive effects of handling clay.

Vera is investigating how reward, attention and motivation change after brain injury. With Glyn Humphreys, Shoumitro Deb and Pia Rotshein. Her PhD was awarded in 2013.
