MSc students' allowance - typically used to pay inconvenience allowance for subjects in C84RPL/C84PRO project work

Under certain conditions, students on the MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging can claim a small amount of money (£100 in 2010/11; up-to-date amount to be announced by email) for the payment of inconvenience allowances to subjects or for other scientific purposes (e.g. conference registration fees, hardware purchase etc).

Expenses need to be approved by the project supervisor (if in School of Psychology) or by the MSc course director (if project supervisor from outside School of Psychology), then please follow these guidelines with link to expenses claim form. Plesae familiarize yourself with these guidelines before you fill in/hand in an expenses claim form.

For the claims that refer to subjects' inconvenience allowances, the procedure is also explained below (email from Deborah Cartledge, Psychology Research Support Office, 12 March 2010).
