  • GSSTW Introduction to the skills of teamwork
  • GSTCVM Preparing and presenting an effective CV for masters level students
  • GSTINT Interviews and how to survive them
or comparable courses (except courses designated for mid- or late-stage researchers or for academic staff)

Choose min 4 further credit points' worth of Graduate School courses (except courses designated for mid- or late-stage researchers). A course on Advanced Signal Processing, to be offered by the Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre in February 2011, will count as equivalent to 4 graduate school points and is highly recommended to students with an interest in fMRI, MEG, or EEG, details will be announced in Nov 2011. Students are free to take more than 4 points' worth of courses. Comment (01 June 2009): Several students report that the 8-credit Information Services course "Programming for Beginners (GSTPFB)" has been useful as a preparation for the MATLAB course (summer semester, part of C84NIM)
