84  Explore, apply, reflect

This activity is a marking exercise. Please work in pairs.

• Download the original lab reports in Chapter 83.
• Together with your partner, select two lab reports for the marking exercise. (5 min)
• Independently mark the first lab report. (20 min) For this exercise, it is sufficient to assign an overall classification:
  • First class (70–100)
  • Upper second class (60–69)
  • Lower second class (50–59)
  • Third class (40–49)
  • Fail (below 40)
• Compare your classification with your partner’s. If your classifications differ, discuss them and agree on an overall classification. (5 min)
• Repeat the process for the second lab report you selected.

You are welcome to use the lab report marking rubric to guide your marking, but you do not need to assign marks for the individual criteria.
